Trials postponed

CHANDIGARH, May 24: Trials to select Chandigarh under-16 team for the forthcoming Punjab Inter-District cricket tournament, were again postponed to due unavoidable circumstances. The trials will now be held tomorrow at DAV School in Sector 8 at 3 p.m.

Sixteen players will be selected for a coaching camp, which will commence from June 1. The camp will also be held at the DAV School-8.

Kho-Kho team
The Chandigarh boys and girls team will take part in the Junior National kho-kho championship to be held at Aurangabad from May 26 to 30.

The Chandigarh Kho-Kho Association, however, failed to provide the final 12-member teams in both the groups.

Some of the selected players in the boys section are Vikramjeet Singh, Santosh, Vijay Bhan, Rajinder, Harjeet, Jaswinder and Balwinder.
