NEW DELHI, May 9: Fine knock by Amit Viz 69 and Vipul Gupta8217;s all-round display helped Maharaja Agarsen Cricket Academy beat Mehra XI by 33 runs in the final of Rajrani memorial tournament at Uttam Nagar. MACA set a reasonabe 206 for Mehra XI to chase but the latter folded making 172.

Brief scores: MACA: 205 for 9 Amit Viz 69, Vipul Gupta 37, Lalu Yadav 4 for 44. Mehra XI: 172 Lalu Yadav 54, Sunil Sharma 43, Vipul Gupta 4 for 47, Deepak Goel 3 for 48.

Shalimar advance
Shalimar Starlets defeated Crifit Club by eight wickets to enter the second round of 15th Laxman Dass memorial tournament.

Brief scores: Crifit: 126 Diwang 39, Tapan 27, Gurjinder Singh 4 for 20, Rajeev Sharma 2 for 22. Shalimar Starlets: 130 Amit Sharma 53, Ajay Nangia 47 not out, Deepak 2 for 19.

JNS triumph
JNS and Shanti i Academy won their respective matches in the inaugural Tara Devi Khullar memorial tournament. JNS defeated LB Shastri by five wicekts while Shanti beat Young Friends by two wickets.
