Thieves rob residence by Nagar Road

PUNE, July 26: Gold ornaments and cash amounting to Rs 18,000 was taken away by three unidentified thieves from a house at Tuljabhavaninagar on the Pune-Ahmednagar Road on Saturday night.

The three thieves, aged around 30, barged into the house after threatening the owner Suryabhan Vithoba Borude who was sleeping in the verandah, to open it for them. The incident occurred at 1.45 am.

The thieves took away Rs. 5000 in cash from the cupboard and snatched ornaments from Borude8217;s wife. The Yerawada police are investigating the case.
