She has been looking into all the nitty-gritties involved in movie-making on the sets of her company8217;s latest movie, Ashoka The Great which stars Kareena Kapoor in the female lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Contrary to rumours, Juhi isn8217;t miffed about being left out in the cold by her producer-partner SRK. In fact, she herself is said to have brought up Kareena8217;s name for the part. However, it8217;s not like the chirpy actress is doing nothing besides production work. She gears up now to work with Amitabh Bachchan in Suneel Darshan8217;s film which will start shortly.

Film-maker Kalpana Lajmi can8217;t stop raving about Raveena Tandon and the supposedly terrific job she8217;s done in Lajmi8217;s latest film, Daman. The movie, one that is based on domestic violence in India, features Raveena as the victim of this maara-maari. Lajmi, who burnt her fingers working with an ungrateful Kiron Kher on Darmiyaan, has decided she won8217;t work without stars again. With Raveena toplining her latest film, the versatile lady film-maker hopes audiences won8217;t give Daman the cold shoulder.
