While the Government has denied that there are any plans to spend Rs 22 crore on a Kanshi Ram film, the Mayawati regime is racing ahead with other projects announced in the name of the BSP founder and B R Ambedkar:

8226; Urban infrastructure improvement programme redubbed Kanshi Ram Shahri Samagra Yojana: Allotment in annual budget Rs 200 crore, revised to Rs 8,000 crore

8226; Special cities named after Kanshi Ram, to house the economically weak in Lucknow, Kanpur, Ghaziabad and Meerut: Rs 3,000 crore

8226; Kanshi Ram Payjal Yojana, covering 31 cities: Rs 2,000 crore

8226; Kanshi Ram Smarak Sthal: Rs 253 crore

8226; Super speciality hospital: Rs 300 crore

8226; Medical college: Rs 300 crore

8226; Institute of Technology: Rs 500 crore

8226; Kanshi Ram Museum: Rs 15 crore

8226; Vishram Sthal: Rs 12 crore

8226; Kanshi Ram Smriti Upvan: Rs 30 crore
