Teledensity telephones per 100 people in the country nudged the 7 per cent mark as the wireless subscriber base grew by 1.9 million during November. The total telephone subscriber base including fixed line users reached 69.65 million on November 30, according to figures released by Associations of Basic and Cellular Operators. TRAI had earlier said that teledensity would cross the 7 per cent mark in December 2003.
