Tax evasion detected

The Income Tax department today raided three textile units, Shreyans Meters and Maini Hosiery, both located in Industrial Area -A, and Puneet Exports, situated at Janakpuri.

The survey raid was continuing till the time of filing of this report. The department officials said they had collected documents indicating tax evasion. However the exact amount of the evasion would be determined only after scanning various documents, they said.
