The fad seemed to touch comical proportions when speaker after speaker at a function held to mark the merger of a Delhi-based splinter group with the parent Shiromani Akali Dal welcomed Jathedar Manjit Singh Greater Kailashji into the party fold. What is more, jathedar Greater Kailashji has plans to become more active in the Capital in the coming days. Time alone will tell if our home-grown Jathedar is able to carry his fancy surname with as much success as the illustrious leaders he trying to emulate.
