T20 win has not imposed pressure on team: Uthappa

India8217;s historic win at the Twenty20 World Cup had not imposed any pressure on the team, which has worked out a strategy to take on the Aussies to fight 8220;fire with fire8221; in the coming ODI series, Robin Uthappa, part of the victorious team, said on Thursday.

8220;The pressure is not on us. We have done exceedingly well,8221; he told the media during the launch of Neo Sports Video on Demand and Live Streaming Service.

He said the team was 8220;raring to go8221; against the Aussies in the one-day series commencing from September 29.

8220;We have worked out a strategy to take on the Aussies. We will fight fire with fire,8221; he said.

To a question that he appeared to struggle towards the latter half of the 20-20 tournament, Uthappa said: 8220;No, I don8217;t think I was struggling. I was trying my best to contribute to the game in any possible way I could.8221;

India8217;s ace seamer Zaheer Khan, who missed the Twenty20 World Cup due to an injury, said, 8220;The break was critical for me. The break has gone on well. I have done a lot of work during the break. I am looking forward to the coming series. It is important to start the series on a good note.8221;
