3-day carrom contest starts October 28
Gujarat Kamdar Mandal will organise a three-day Carrom competition at Bharuch Kamdar Kendra, near Shakti Nath Mahadev, from October 28. Interested should apply before Oct 27.

Saplings planted
Fifteen industrial units in Mangrol taluka planted 12,280 saplings on their factory premises. The saplings included 1000 Nigiri, 500 bamboos, and 1145 fruits plants.

B R TANDEL has been elected president of the Dangs district private High School Teachers Association. He was elected unanimously on last Tuesday. Jagjivanbhai Tandel has been elected Vice-President.

Kids8217; Sunday
CNI church celebrated children8217;s Sunday on Oct 24. Cultural programmes were organised to mark the occasion. Deputy director of Information Cecil Christie gave away prizes to 155 children who did well in the Sunday school examination. Rev Cecil David held a prayer for world peace, prosperity and the country8217;s well being.
