
PUNE, May 7: The Pune District Roller Skating Association PDRSA in an attempt to promote the sport among youngsters will conduct a one-day meet in both Road and Rink sections Race for all those who have attended summer camps for skating at various clubs, this year.
The competition scheduled on May 18, will be held in the age group of below 6 years, 6 to 8, 8 to 10 and 10 to 12 years. The first six players in each age group will be given prizes, according to a press note issued by PDRSA, here today.
Along with with this, the association also plans to organise a tournament for regular players in the age group of below 6, 6 to 9, 9 to 12, 12 to 16 and above 16.

PDFA meeting
Advocate Pratap S Jadhav, president of the Poona District Football Association8217;s resignation was rejected at their Executive Committee meeting held on Tuesday, according to the press release issued by the secretary Chetan Chavan.
The meeting also took into consideration of elevating two more vice-presidents in the body making it three in all. Moreshwar alias Appa and Joe Rebello were the names put forth. Ashok Wanjari is the vice-president now.
In another decision, two more executive members were put forth, Micky Aigner Falcon SC and Balkrishnan Kanojia Youth Club NDA. The decision on both the points will be taken in the Executive Meeting to be held on May 11.

As part of R K Sales and Service second anniversary celebrations, a unique and interesting competition Hymylage8217; for Kinetic K4-100 owners was held with an objective of deriving optimum from a litre of petrol.
A total of 50 participants took part in the competition which commenced from the Pune University circle.
