Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday announced that the Samajwadi Janata Party SJP, formed by former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar and at present being headed by his son and Ballia MP Neeraj Shekhar, had merged with his party. Mulayam said Rashtriya Janata Dal RJD national president Lalu Prasad Yadav had also expressed his wish to see all socialist outfits on a single platform. He appealed to all such organisations to gather for a rally of 8220;samajwadis8221; being organised by the SP in Patna next month. He said the rally would show the exact political picture for the general elections.
