SIMI, Bajrang Dal are dangerous: NSA

He claimed 8220;SIMI and Bajrang Dal are not two sides of the same coin, but both of them are dangerous.8221;

The former IB chief said more number of Bajrang Dal activists should be arrested 8220;based on the information we have you can ban it but you will then not be able to sustain it,8221; he told NDTV.

He said as was the case with SIMI, 8220;the evidences collected on procedural matters that got up with Supreme Court 8230; you may get a vicarious pleasure of banned or not banned. What you need is to prevent them from acting and I think that is what needs to be done,8221; he said.

Narayanan said he was a firm believer that militant outfits 8220;under whatever dispensation they are, should be banned.8221;

He said though the actions of Bajrang Dal are militant, 8220;the problem around Bajrang Dal is that it really does not exist as an organisation.8221;

Narayanan suggested building up evidence to control such organisations.
