Unbeaten 103 by Ashu Dani
Delhi Ranji player Ashu Dani’s unbeaten 103 off 60 deliveries sealed the fate of Ramvir Lohia Club as J.N. Golden registered a comfortable seven-wicket triumph in the Lala Hari Ram Aggarwal Memorial day-night cricket tournament at the MCD ground here last night. Electing to bat, Ramvir managed 221 for seven and in reply JN Golden guided by a swashbuckling century by Dani reached 222 for the loss of three wickets in 24.4 overs.

Brief scores: Ramvir Club (221 for 7: Rajender Singh 77 not out, Vikas Sharma 41, P. Sehrawat 2 for 29, Rohit Sharma 2 for 39, Ashok Modgal 2 for 39) lost to JN Golden (222 for 3: A.Dani 103 not out, Dinesh Yadav 51, Manvinder Singh 36 not out).

Fine display by Nachiketa
Man-of-the-match Nachiketa’s fine spell of 4 for 32 helped Crifit triumph over Shanti Academy by two wickets in the inaugural match of the second Rajesh Peter Memorial tournament for juniors at Shanti Sports Club. Praveen’s unbeaten 52 and Dhanraj’s spell of 4 for 55 went in vain.

Aman Bansal excels
All-round performance by Aman Bansal (43 and 2 for 26) and Ravi Shanker Goel’s unbeaten 47 helped Vaish Public School (Rohtak) triumph over Gold Star Academy by four wickets in the second Namdhari Sub Ganda Singh (under-16) tournament at Ramjas sports complex.

Brief scores: Gold Star: 158 for 5 (Sharat Nayyar 66, Gaurav Mathur 47, Aman Bansal 2 for 26) lost to VPS (Rohtak): 159 for 6 (Aman Bansal 43, Ravi Shankar 47 not out, Ajay Dagar 30, Suyash 2 for 36).

Maiden title for N. Railways
Northern Railway, helped by skipper Chanderkanta’s 96, defeated Eastern Railways by 31 runs to claim the maiden title in the Inter-Railways women’s cricket tournament.

Arunachal Bhawan win
Arunachal Bhawan won the Inter-State Bhawan Cricket Tournament defeating Orissa Bhawan by 40 runs in the final at Central Civil Services Sports Complex here. Arunachal Bhawan, put in to bat, were all out for 186 in 32.2 overs. Idris Ahmed scored 77 runs. Later, Ahmed claimed three wickets as Orissa were bowled out for 146 runs.
