St Columba8217;s: 222 for 1 in 28 overs Deepender 114 not out, Chirag 74 not out. St Michael8217;s: 221 in 38.4 overs Nitin 41, Priyank 39, Arjun 25, Vaibhav Rastogi 4 for 32, S Gulati 2 for 19, Franklin 2 for 46.

Prithvi basketball
Holders Punjab Police in men8217;s section and Eastern Railway in the women8217;s section will vie to retain their titles in this year8217;s all-India Prithvi Nath Memorial Basketball Tournament, at the Ajmal Khan Park courts here from Friday.

Following are the men8217;s teams: Punjab Police, Western Railway, Border Security Force, Tisco, Andhra Pradesh, ONGC and hosts Prithvi Nath Club.

Among the women participants, runners-up Andhra Pradesh, Central Railway, Delhi and Punjab teams will be competing.

Rahul, Javed excel
Fine batting by Rahul 69 helped Bal Bharti Public School Pitampura prevail over Lovely Public School by seven wickets in the Radha Kishan inter-school tournament.

In another match, Guru Harkishan Public School, India Gate, defeated Air Force Bal Bharti Public School, Lodhi Road by six wickets. S Javed contributed 99 runs for the winners while Varun made 46 for the losers.

Title for Meenu
Suneel Ahuja and Meenu Babbar won the sub-junior boys and sub-junior girls singles titles of the Raj Kumar Babuta Memorial Haryana state ranking table tennis tournament at Panchkula, according to reports reaching here.

Sahil Rally and Poonam won the cadet boys and cadet girls titles, respectively. Suneel beat Neeraj 21-17, 19-21, 21-17 while Meenu had the better of Shweta 21-12, 16-21, 21-19.

Bon Ton Cup
The third Bon Ton inter-school cricket tournament, organised by Gyan Bharati School Saket, will be held from October 12. Sixteen teams, including last year8217;s champions Salwan Boys and runners-up Modern Barakhamba Road will take part in the invitational tournament which will be of two days duration. A total cash award of Rs 45,000 will be at stake.

Northern Railway defeated President XI by 25 runs to win the Delhi State senior women8217;s cricket championship.

Skating hockey
Bhatnagar International School, Paschim Vihar, won the sub-junior roller skating hockey title at the 18th Delhi State Skating Championship. Shaheed Bishan Singh Memorial School emerged runners-up, with Chandu Skating Club coming third.
