Nimkar, Tantra to lead Maharashtra carrom team

  • Former state champion Monaz Tantra Mumbai and International Niranjan Nimkar of Thane will lead the Maharashtra carrom team women8217;s and men8217;s team in the 27th Senior National and Inter-State Carrom team championship from March 29- April 3, 1998 at Akola.

    • The Akola District Carrom Association under the auspices of the Vidarbha Carrom Association and All India Carrom Federation will play hosts to the event.

    TEAMS

    Men: Niranjan Nimkar Thane, Aslam Chikte Mumbai, Yogesh Pardeshi Pune, Milind Kulkarni Thane, Harji Boricha Mumbai, Arun Kedar Mumbai, Suhas Kambli Coach/Manager

    Women: Monaz Tantra Mumbai, Sujata Haylinge Thane, Shakuntala Dangle Mumbai, Minal Lele Thane, Nalini Bolinjkar Mumbai, Sonal Lele Thane, Janardhan Sangam Manager.

    Veterans: Keshav Kotian Mumbai, Suresh Dumbre Thane
