MSSA panel
Former FIFA referee Alex Vaz was re-elected president at the 107th Annual General Meeting of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association held recently at the St Xavier’s High School, Fort.
The following persons were elected on the Executive Committee for a two-year term: President: Alex Vaz (Little Flower of Jesus). Vice-Presidents: MD Paralkar (Wilson) and S Lotlikar (IES New English). Hon. Treasurer: SR Nayak (IES Raja Shivaji). Hon. Gen. Secretary: Esmero Figueiredo (Our Lady of Good Counsel). Hon. Jt Secretary: HS Bhor (IES VN Sule Guruji).
Schools badminton
The member schools are hereby informed that the MSSA-Colgate Inter-School badminton tournament has been advanced by two days as per schedule of dates by the Greater Mumbai Badminton Association.
The tournament will now be held from September 17 to 25 at the Cricket Club of India courts instead of September 19-27.
