Ambrose adjudged best
Curtly Ambrose was adjudged the BPL Player of the Week for the period April 2 to 8. He will be presented US $ 500. It was difficult for the judges to select the winner this week due to even performances by the players in matches all over. But eventually Curtly Ambrose was chosen for his 8-wicket haul in the fourth Test against Australia in Antigua. The judges rated his performance ahead of Justin Langer’s 127 and Lara’s 100, both in the same Test, and Ijaz Ahmed’s 137 against England in Sharjah.
