Seven records set

NEW DELHI, July 23: Seven meet records were set on the second day day of the ninth Summer Athletic meet at Chhattarsal Stadium Model Town today.

In the girls u-17 section Monika Jeon set shot put record with a throw of 9.49mts while Pawneet clocked 13 secs for a record in 100mts. In the boys u-19 section, Sunny, clocked 11.1sec for a record in 100mts while Ravinder Paswan set a mark in long jump with a distance of 5.92mts in sub-jr category. In 800mt u-17 Sunil clocked 1.58.8secs for a new record.

Yesterday, Surinder Singh Ramjasj No. 2 and Sunil Kumar GBSS, Jaunti were first in 1500m u-19 and u-17 categories while Sangita of GGSS No. 2 Lajpat Nagar won the 100m u-19.
