
MUMBAI, AUG 9: The ruling Shiv Sena-BJP alliance in Maharashtra has decided to swap four assembly seats for the coming elections.
Sena would now field its candidates from Pen, Phaltan, Patan and Biloli, senior Sena leader Subhash Desai said in a statement here today.
Till now the above mentioned constituencies were with the BJP as per the seat-sharing formula.
Similarly, Panvel, Khatav, Latur and Ashti 8212; the assembly constituencies which were with the Sena till now 8212; would go to the BJP, Desai added.
Meanwhile, Sena chief Bal Thackeray has also announced the candidature of Amrit Patel from Dadra amp; Nagar Haveli parliamentary constituency for the forthcoming polls, he said.
