
NEW DELHI, March 29: The Sant Yatra, commemorating the tercentenary of the Khalsa Panth, entered the Capital today with Union Home Minister L.K. Advani saying that the mission sought to unite the people of the country.
Receiving the Sant Yatra, which commenced from Patna Saheb on March 18, Advani said the Khalsa Panth was established for the cause of national unity and integrity.
The yatra would conclude at Anandpur Sahib in Punjab on April 10, a release from the celebration committee said.
The function was also attended by the President of the Delhi Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Jaswant Singh and a host of devotees, including Delhi Assembly legislators, it said.
