CHANDIGARH, Aug 20: Olympian Sanjeev Kumar has been dropped from the Indian hockey team for the Commonwealth Games on 8220;medical8221; grounds. Sources at the Sports Authority of India and the Indian Hockey Federation said that the former India forward who had received a recall for the Kuala Lumpur trip 8220;had problems with his eye sight8221;.

IHF Secretary General Jothikumaran is told to have taken this decision after the meeting held at the Akkthimmanahalli Stadium on the Independence Day in Bangalore.
