It8217;s confirmed. Actor Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh have decided to file for divorce. Khan, who is back in Mumbai after two months, said: 8216;8216;Amrita and I have decided to part amicably due to certain differences.8217;8217;

Though the details are being worked out, Khan said he was aware of his responsibilities vis-a-vis Amrita and their children 8212; Sara and Ibrahim. Although it8217;s still unclear who will get their custody, he said it would not be an issue. 8216;8216;As I see it, they will now have two homes. Custody will not be an issue.8217;8217;

On the kids8217; reaction, he said: 8216;8216;I think they aren8217;t taking it that badly8230;And in a way, I think what8217;s happening is better for them.8217;8217;

He also denied that his parents, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore, had severed ties with Amrita. 8216;8216;Amrita is their daughter-in-law and they share a relationship that8217;s independent of me8230;I8217;ll be very upset if my parents take sides8217;8217;.

Khan also denied that he had moved in with his Italian girlfriend Rosa. 8216;8216;Rosa is a friend and she8217;s also somebody8217;s daughter so let8217;s keep her out of this. Right now, I am not comfortable talking about her.8217;8217;
