The accent was on games and for all those clued in to the theme at the Black Cadillac on Saturday it was fun time with Veejay Laila Rouass egging them on.

There were dice games, card games, impromptu games and to prove their sporting spirit even a vodka-drinking contest for girls and a beer-drinking contest for guys. DJ Rafsy and DJ Gabriel manned the console controls while the party-goers tried to outdo each other on the floor. Truly revels without a pause!

The man has his heart in the right place. Bollywood actor, Shashi Kapoor who was recently in the city will be back again. This time as patron of Satseva, an NGO working with cancer afflicted patients, Kapoor will be celebrating Diwali with families of terminally ill cancer patients and distributing sweets and fruit. The function will be held at 5.30 p.m. on October 30 at the Nehru Memorial Hall with industrialist Arun Firodia as chief guest. District Collector Vijaykumar Gautam is the special guest at the function while Dr. B M Dama, director , health services, Government of Maharashtra is the special invitee.
