Come July and another dance academy will be on the scene. SPADE or the Sphynx Academy of Dance and Entertainment, the brainchild of Savio D8217;Souza and two members of his dance troupe, Sphynx, is slated to be an academy which will teach kids and adults the various art forms of dance.8217;Just fresh from his 65 th show in Mumbai, Savio is enthusiastic about the dance school starting on July 1. 8220;We will teach everything from Jazz, rock n8217; roll, hip hop and aerobics to funk and techno. This basic two-month course will be conducted at a health club,8221; he says. The dance troupe8217;s claim to fame is when the members danced with Shaan and Sagarika at the Pepsi dance connection in March this year. So, for those who dig dance 8211; here8217;s SPADE.

Crew and all8230;
It was certainly a hush-hush affair. Stars Saif Ali Khan and Manisha Koirala were in town for the shooting of a Tips release Kachche Dhaage. Guess who else was in tow? Ajay Devgun, Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Namrata Shirodkar, all of whom had put up at Hotel Blue Diamond.

A source at the hotel revealed that Saif Ali is sporting a new look 8211; a kind of crew cut. That, coupled with the fact that the shooting for the movie was taking place in Lohegaon, leads us to believe that Saif Ali Khan is flying high in the movie as an Air Force officer. With Ajay Devgan, fresh from his NDA experience of Major Saab, offering the little nawab tips on being an officer and a gentleman?

O, what a show!
A select gathering of Osho disciples swayed to the music as the dulcet-voiced Sadhana Sargam sang and composer Kalyanji looked on. The occasion was the inauguration of the Osho Amrut Library and Varuni Opticians at Koregaon Park on Thursday.

After the introduction of the celebrity guests and their felicitation by Ma Neelam, the programme got underway with kirtans by disciples of Osho, surprisingly sans their trademark robes. The main attraction was, of course, Sadhana Sargam and Shailaja Bajpai, who also sang devotional songs. Among those present were former mayor Ulhas Dhole Patil and his wife Kamal. Yet another outlet for his Master8217;s voice?

Ice, isn8217;t it?
Cool was re-defined on June 13. And cool is Iced Beer, as United Breweries Ltd launched their latest beverage at a well-attended Ice Mangta Hai Funky Bash8217; at Black Cadillac.

There8217;s German beer and there8217;s English beer. They say that the Danes have had a crack at the guzzler. But the Indians, under the aegis of United Breweries Ltd, seem to have joined in with Iced Beer. Priced at Rs 27, the beer is apparently made from the classic recipe with quite a bit of innovation thrown in, courtesy a revolutionary ice-brewing process. True brew!
