New Delhi, Nov 20: Top seed Indian Ritwik Bhattacharya breezed past his Malaysian rival Kumaresan to enter the semi-finals of the Asian Squash Federation Junior Circuit Grand Finals. Ritwik, who won 9-0, 9-4, 9-0, will clash with fourth seed Yan Kah Ho Hong Kong, who defeated Indian Anshul Manchanda 9-3, 9-5, 9-1 for the semi-final berth.

Later, Mushabir Gul of Pakistan overcame a first game deficit to upset second seeded Indian Bikram Uberoi 4-9, 9-0, 9-5, 9-4 to set up a semi-final clash with his cousin and third seed Ibrahim Gul.

In the girls section, Indian hopes were dashed with the loss of Pia Abraham who was sent packing by fourth seed Tan Wah Siew of Singapore 0-9, 1-9, 7-9 while Asian senior champion 15-year-old Nicol David of Malaysia bundled out an uninspired Supriya Balsekhar of India 9-0, 9-2, 9-1 to make it to the semi-finals.
