MUMBAI, May 30: Rhino Sports Club, Parel, scored a comfortable 3-1 victory over Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board, Andheri, in the MDFA-conducted Air-India Trophy football tournament at the St Xavier’s ground, Parel, today.

Ashu Bhoir, Ajit Kokate and S Raj struck for the winners with Charnel D’Souza bringing down the margin for MLWB.

Earlier in the evening, Don Bosco Youth Centre B, Kurla, pipped Sonata 4-1 via the tie-breaker. Jaideep Sarkar gave DBYC the lead and Robin Pereira equalised for Sonata. In the tie-breaker all three shots by Sonata were saved by ‘keeper Deepak Kamble.

Alisha claims title: Alisha Mashruwala won the girls’ event of the tournament conducted for trainees of the summer camp, jointly organised by the Squash Rackets Association of Maharashtra and the Professional Management Group, at CCI today.
