PANCHKULA, Nov 24: The Citizens8217; Welfare Association of the township has demanded better facilities in the area and have alleged that the problem of low water pressure has become acute in some sectors, while the lighting system and roads are in a bad state.

A resident of Sector 17, Sanjay Kapoor, who stays on the third floor, says that for the past six months the water pressure has been low and at times he even had to fetch water from the ground floor. Many residents are also complaining about muddy water in Sector 16.

Meanwhile, the Association has said that HUDA must take remedial measures to regulate the water supply through overhead tanks. President of the Association S.K. Nayar said the problem cannot be solved by simply doing the patch work.
