MYSORE: Former India player Sunil Joshi and KP Appanna ripped through the Haryana line up to dismiss them for 112 runs and help Karnataka to a 253 runs victory. Karnataka gained four points from this outright victory and will take on defending champs Uttar Pradesh on Saturday at Kanpur.

Ojha helps Hyderabad gain two points

JAIPUR: Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha claimed a brilliant seven wicket haul to help Hyderabad gain a first innings lead of 32 runs and earn two points against Rajasthan. Ojha spun out the lower-middle order and the tail as the hosts folded up for 353.

Bad light forces draw

MOHALI: Only 11.3 overs were bowled before bad light forced the match to end forcing Punjab to settle with only two points against Gujarat at PCA Stadium. Gujarat, who were 86/1 overnight, made 125/2 today with Nilesh Modi reaching his half-century.

Venu saves the day for AP

CHENNAI: Venugopal Rao saved Andhra the blushes as his unbeaten 105 forced the match into a draw against Tamil Nadu at Chennai. Forced to follow-on and trailing by 319 runs, AP ended the day at 327/8 with Tamil Nadu only earning two points.
