AUGUST 10: The rust and cobwebs were off. The movements were not deliberate. Tisco, who struggled to a 77-75 victory over Sports Ambassadors US, yesterday, were organised and efficient as they lead 83-69 with one minute left when rain intervened and put an end to the contest today.

Nearing half-time, Tisco were sitting pretty on 53-34. A little bit of hustle induced some errors from Tisco who yielded some ground to Sports Ambassadors and at half-time, closed on 53-40.

But Tisco, preparing for an all-India tournament at Chennai, were far too good for Sports Ambassadors. Too many defensive blocks denied Sports Ambassadors any chance to score though David Horner and Philip McAdory were successful in driving past the centres and getting close to the basket.

On the offensive end, Mobin Islauddin, Tisco8217;s 78217;3quot; centre, was rebounding well to irritate Ambassadors while Jaldeep Dhaliwal was again good with his left-handed jump shots. Mobin contributed 19 points while Nishant Kumar drained 15 points.

Philip Prince scored 29 points while Horner scored 17.
