
UP denies revoking Babri cases
LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Government clarified on Wednesday that it had not withdrawn any case relating to the demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya on December 6, 1992. Officials said out of the 36 cases withdrawn by the Government, only 19 were related to the Ayodhya movement and these pertained to incidents that occurred before and after the demolition of the mosque.
