
Guwahati rly station blast kills 2
GUWAHATI: An explosion at the Guwahati railway station around 7.55 p.m. on Monday killed two and injured 12. It also blew off a tea stall and the platform roof. According to officials, the explosive device was hidden under the luggage of the Army and Border Security Force personnel who were waiting for the Delhi-bound Avadh-Assam Express. The train was scheduled to leave at 8 p.m. The injured have been shifted to various city hospitals. There was no electricity at the time of the blast. The authorities said the ULFA was almost certainly behind the blast aimed at the security personnel.
