AHMEDNAGAR: A group of persons, allegedly young army officers, on Thursday attacked the Tofkhana police station here. They came to the police station on motorcycles and, thereafter, proceeded to man-handle the police personnel. The immediate cause of provocation was however, not yet known. The miscreants were dressed in civil clothes. The Army8217; painted on the rear of their two-wheelers, however, signified that they were army personnel.

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister BS Shekhawat, on Thursday expanded his ministry by inducting 14 new faces into it, including one cabinet minister. Two deputy ministers were also elevated to the rank of ministers of state. Acting governor Justice NL Tibarewal administered the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers at the sprawling lawns of Raj Bhawan here.

NEW DELHI: Navy divers pulled out two more bodies on Thursday from Yamuna river taking the toll in Wednesday8217;sWazirabad drowning incident involving school students to three. They were identified as Pawandeep Pal Singh and Tayyab, DCP North SN Shrivastava said adding search was on to trace another missing child, Devender.
