MELBOURNE, Oct 19: Former Pakistani leg-spinner Abdul Qadir raised memories of his glorious past when he took eight wickets for 67 runs in a district match in Australia yesterday. Qadir, 43, played havoc for Carlton against Footscray in a two day match in which he bowled 33.2 overs. Qadir, who took 236 wickets in 67 tests for Pakistan, is contracted to play and coach in South Australia.The Pakistani spinner faded out of the international scene in 1992-93 after he broke his leg during an exhibition match in England.
