Volunteers sought
Society for Service to Voluntary Agencies SOSVA has sought help of volunteers for rendering services like teaching Yoga, PT and conducting friendly visits. Volunteers with knowledge of computer, assisting in gardening work, reading for the blind, guiding patients during heavy rush hours at OPD, are needed to offer their services during their convenient and free time. Details can be had at the SOSVA8217;s Centre from Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., telephone no. 631808.

Discourse
Sudhanshuji Maharaj, a religious figure, will be coming to Pune for a discourse between December 23 and 27, at Amar Avinash Corporate City, near Residency Club.

The four-and-a-half day programme is being organised by Vishwa Jagriti Mission through the Avtaar Bhakti Satsang and Poona Maheshwari Satsang Samiti. The discourse will take place between 8.30 and 10.20 am and 6.00 pm and 8 pm.Arrangements have been made in a 70,000 sq feet pandal which will accommodate 15,000 people.

Letter contest
The Save India Association SIA has sought entries for its competition on best letters published in Letters to the Editor column in any daily published from Pune. The writers should send their letters along with details of the newspaper8217;s name, date of publication, and address of the writer to Cdr. M.J. Karnik Retd., 41, National Society, Pune-7, before January 15.
