Church feast
The feast of Christ the King will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier’s Church in Chinchwad on November 22 at 6 p.m.. Besides the Chinchwad parish, people from Pimpri, Yamunanagar, Kalewadi and Akurdi will also participate in the feast celebrations, a statement issued by the parish priest Fr. Joe Abraham has said.

Hegde awarded
K S Hegde, a member of Marathi Kannada Snehavardhana Kendra, Pune, has received Kannada Kula Bhushan award from the Friends Circle of Exambha, Chikodi and Belgaum in recognition of his contributions to text books and the cause of Antar Bharati.

Festival
The Kartikai Deepam festival will be celebrated at Untade Maruti temple in Rasta Peth from December 1 to 3.
