PUC honour sports persons

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 5: More than forty sports person, including women, who represented Panjab University Campus in the Inter-College competitions and represented PU varsity in the All India Inter-University meets, were honoured at felicitation ceremony held today at the English Department Auditorium. Prof IBS Passi, Dean University Instructions, PU, gave away the prizes to the players.

Some sports persons, who secured second positions in the various PU Inter-College meets, including cricket men, were also honoured on the occasion.

Kanwaljit handball, Aditya Mann best physique, Puneet Juneja yoga, Neeru Bhambri and Sunaina softball, were medalists in the All India Inter-University meets.

Sports day
Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36 will organise its annual sports meet tomorrow at college premises. The meet would start at 9.30 a.m.

Athletic meet
The two-day sixth Annual athletic meet of the Government Medical College, Sector 32 starts tomorrow at the Sector 46 Sports Complex here.
