PSEB treasurer suspended

DERA BASSI, May 6: Treasurer of the Lalru unit of Punjab State Electricity Board, Gurbax Singh, has been placed under suspension for the alleged forging of an electricity bill to be paid by a local industrialist.

With this, the number of employees suspended in PSEB has gone up to six. All of them have been suspended on the basis of the preliminary inquiry report submitted by the chief auditor of the department. The suspension will remain in force till the inquiry is complete.
