NEW DELHI, October 8: Municipal Commissioner V K Duggal has extended the Pay-by-Date deadline for payment of property tax up to October 31. This decision will help tax payers avail the 20 per cent rebate. All offices and units of assessment and collection department will remain open on all Saturdays during this month from 9.30 am to 2 pm.

Duggal added that in cases of revision in property tax due to increase in rent, additions, alterations, new construction, change in ownership or change in land use, the tax payers can deposit their dues on the basis of self-assessment.

The forms are available at all the zones and units of assessment and collection department. Those who have not received their bills, can procure duplicate ones from the zones where the property is assessed.
