After the historic win against Australia,MS Dhoni talked about the changes in the way he has dealt with a young side,on how the batting order seems to wear a settled look and the constant words exchanged between the two sides.

On captaincy style

I had to change a bit,as the line-up has entirely changed. The bowling line-up is quite the same,but the batting has changed almost completely. You have to tell the youngsters what needs to be done,what went wrong8230;With experienced cricketers,they know what really went wrong. I felt that with this young side its important to get them into a system when they do things that are supposed to be done. Because the habits they get used to right now are what theyll go ahead with.

On settled batting line-up

The openers,Shikhar and Vijay,have performed really well. Pujara,Im really impressed with. He got injured in the first innings yet he came out to open for us and score those big runs. I think overall Im very happy with the performance of especially the newer players whove just got a chance to play in this series. About No. 6 position,Jadeja has done really well with the ball and slowly hes scoring runs. He may take a little bit of time but its very important that we have a youngster like him who can bowl consistently and bat a bit. So when we go abroad,we can use it and still have five bowlers in the bowling line-up.

On the spat

The schoolboys just graduated into college for a while. I think the good thing is that it was handled really well by the umpires and the match referee. One thing I always tell the match referee is that whichever team starts it,I think the other team has an equal right to give it back and then you should stop it,saying: No more,now both the sides need to be disciplined. Because if you stop one side from saying a few things that need to be said at that point of time,the individuals in that side just keep at it. But still,a bit of chit-chat is still fine,I feel.

On Fletchers role

Fletcher has had a tough time,lets admit that. But I think he is someone who knows the game really well. His technical knowledge of batting is immense. He is there helping groom all the youngsters to do well in different conditions. I am happy for him because he has only seen and spent tough periods with us. This is the best we have performed under him and we can only improve from here.

On plans ahead

Right now,we have got two days off. End of season for us,we dont have any more national duties. Well enjoy the IPL,try to keep the body as fit as possible. There is plenty of time for the South Africa series.
