Even the Prime Minister had agreed with this view, Bharati claimed. She said as a Minister she felt she was bound by fetters and now she would struggle for the rights of government employees and the common man.

Bharati said she became a Minister to serve the people and had quit the post to serve them even better.

“Whatever I do is for the people,” Bharati said adding she would now be able to serve the people of Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh in a better way.
