It seems to be an era of power couples in the high echelons of babudom. Take Union Commerce Secretary GK Pillai, whose wife, Sudha Pillai, is Labour Secretary at the Centre. The couple has company in the Razdans. Power Secretary Anil Razdan8217;s wife Rajni Razdan is the Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms. Also on the list is Secretary, Panchayati Raj, Meenakshi Datta Ghosh . Her husband, Prodipto Ghosh, is the Environment Secretary. And there is another couple at the top. P V Bhide is Secretary, Investment. His wife, Sheela Bhide, has also been empanelled as a Secretary. She is currently Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of External Affairs, awaiting a slot at the Secretary level.
