NEW DELHI, Oct 27: Star forwards Dhanraj Pillay, Mukesh Kumar and goalkeeper AB Subbaiah do not figure in the 16-member Indian team for the four-nation Pre-Asian Games hockey tourney to be held at Bangkok from November 1 to 7.

Former Olympian Mervyn Fernandes and international MR Negi will accompany the team as coaches.

The team was selected at Bangalore after the conclusion of the training camp there. Indian Hockey Federation IHF has yet to decide about the captain of the team.

Team: Goalkeepers: A Ballal, Jagdish Ponappa. Full-backs: Anil Aldrin, Rajnish Mishra, Rajnish Mishra. Half-backs: Baljit Singh Saini, Thirumalvalavan, Nausher Singh, Sandeep Somesh, Ravinder Singh. Forwards: Gagan Ajit Singh, Rajesh Chauhan, Sameer Dad, Kamal Horo, Mohammed Riaz and Sabu Varkey. Coaches: Mervyn Fernandes, MR Negi. Manager: K Suoho.
