JD leader Das joins SP

AURANGABAD: Aurangabad district Janata Dal leader Hareshwar Das today joined Samajwadi Party after resigning from the primary membership of the Dal. Das announced his decision to join the SP at a press conference here. The party8217;s candidate for Aurangabad Lok Sabha constituency, Ranjan Kumar Singh and its Aurangabad district president, Surendra Singh, were also present.

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Congress leaders belonging to the backward classes today expressed their resentment against the failure of the party high command to give in to their demand of providing 50 per cent reservations to the backward classes in the allotment of party tickets for the Lok Sabha elections.
