Parminder wins trophy

CHANDIGARH, Aug 9: Parminder Singh of Dumcheri defeated Wazir Singh of Jalandhar by fall in the main bout of the open wrestling competitions jointly organised by Garhi Panchayat and Panchkula District Yoga Association in Garhi, near Raipur Rani Haryana today.

Bharat Singh UP bt Thakur Singh Sarangpur, Paira Lal Kheri bt Bant Singh Sirhind, Ala Rakha Shamli, bt Nachater Singh Khomano, Kishri Lal Chandigarh bt Harwinder Singh Ambala, Harnek Singh Patiala bt Gora Shimla, Jagbir Singh Basoli bt Baldev Singh Chandigarh, Som Pal Rana Aungad bt Narpat Ram Shimla, Neter Pal Dumcheri bt Nirmal Singh Shahbad, Dharampal Singh Gobindpur bt Gurmeet Singh.
