Confident after Pakistan8217;s 6-wicket win over Australia in the Twenty20 World Cup, captain Shoaib Malik thinks his team has to guard against complacency in their crucial semifinal match.

8220;Anything is possible in this form of the game, so we have to guard against complacency all the time,8221; Malik said.

The Pakistan skipper said a clear definition of each player8217;s role on the field had helped his team pull off creditable performances in the tournament.

8220;We are now following a policy of defining every player8217;s role clearly and also being prepared for any eventuality on the field because conditions can change anytime. Role definition means every player knows what he has to do,8221; he said in an interview to Geo television.

Malik said there were two turning points in the Super Eight match against Australia which went in favour of Pakistan.

8220;We only had a look at the pitch after coming to the ground for the match and they had prepared two tracks for the match. They decided on the pitch late but once it was done, I had no doubt we should field first on it,8221; he said.

8220;I knew we have the bowling which is capable of restricting the Australians to around 160 and 170 runs which was gettable on this pitch,8221; he said.
