Najma: I can146;t keep away from official function

Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairperson Najma Heptulla today said that she had attended the function where the portrait of Veer Savarkar was unveiled in Parliament yesterday as she had certain responsibilities as the Upper House8217;s deputy chair.

Congress members had boycotted the function with other Opposition parties. 8216;8216;I have certain responsibilities as the Deputy Chairperson of Rajya Sabha. I was fulfilling them when I went to the function,8217;8217; Heptulla said.
