The Central Railway will run a special train on November 26 between Kurla and Nanded to clear the extra rush. The train will leave Kurla Terminus at 4.40 pm on November 26 and reach Nanded on November 27 at 5 am. The special will have 16 coaches including 11 sleeper class, one first class, two general II class and two general IInd class brake vans. Passengers desiring to cancel their waitlisted tickets of 1003 Down Deogiri Train and seeking to book this additional holiday special will be permitted as a special case to use only one requisition for both cancellation and booking.

Polio drive

To create awareness for the national pulse polio drive, the Rotary Club of Andheri (e) in collaboration with Rotary Club Guwahati (w) has undertaken a Trans-India Pulse Polio Immunisation Awareness Rally. A team will cover 10 states and more than 10,000 km and will reach Mumbai on November 22 and will be flagged off from here on November 23, a press-note said.

Marine camp

Trailblazers environment education division is organising a marine camp at Murud Harnai. The camp site, located 220 km from Mumbai, is in a fort by the sea. Visiting agricultural fields, beach combing, castle building, competitions, treasure hunts, nature trails, music, nature games, a camp-fire and gifts form part of this Camp Habitat programme.
