
MUMBAI, December 12: Central Railway will operate a mega block between Kalyan and Thane from 10.40 am to 4.40 pm on December 14 to carry out maintenance work on tracks, signal gears and other equipment. All up trains will be diverted to the fast lane between Kalyan and Mulund stations and will not be available for Thakurli, Mumbra and Kalva stations during this period.
SSC/HSC results
* The results of October examination of Maharashtra State Board of SSC and HSC examinations were declared today. Manisha Suryavanshi from Thane division topped the score in SSC exam with 77.86 per cent. Ritesh Metha form Mumbai division scored the highest in HSC exam with 71.67 per cent. The total pass per cent in SSC is 18.58 per cent and HSC is 29.53 per cent. Of the 55542 students who appeared in Mumbai division in SSC exam, only 18.58 per cent passed. While the division still topped the pass percentage among the seven divisions, Amravati was down with a total pass percentage of 10.26 per cent.In the HSC exam, the pass percentage of Mumbai division (topper) students were a dismal 29.53 per cent, closely followed by Kolhapur division students and Amravati once again the lowest with 9.17 per cent.
