Inter-collegiate play contest

The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Kala Kendra will conduct an inter college one-act play competition in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and Urdu from September 24 to October 9 at Bhavan8217;s Auditorium, Chowpatty. Meet on Sanskrit literature

The K J Somaiya College of Arts amp; Commerce at Vidyavihar has organised a two-day University Grants Commission seminar on Development of Sanskrit Literature during the 20th Century8217; 1901-2000 in the College Prayer Hall, from 9.30 am to 5 pm on September 7 and 8. Vishvesha Tirtha Swami of the Pejavar Mutt will inaugurate the seminar. Dr S K Somaiya, vice-president of Somaiya College will preside over the function.

Prepared by theMahatma Gandhi Foundation and the Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd it will comprise of books, pictures, audio and video. It will also feature an exclusive cartoon section and a discussion group hosting topics of global importance.
